Is the roof inspection really free — or is there a catch?
100% free, no obligation. We perform a full documented inspection — shingles, flashing, ventilation, decking, and moisture risk — and give you a written findings report with photos. There is no pressure to hire us and no invoice if you decide not to move forward.
How quickly can someone come out?
For standard inspections, we typically schedule within 2–3 business days. For emergency calls — active leaks, storm damage, or exposed decking — we target same-day or next-morning response from both our Springfield and Hanover offices. Call us directly for the fastest dispatch.
Do I need to be home for the inspection?
Ideally, yes. We prefer to walk you through the findings in person — showing you the photos from the roof and explaining what we found. It helps you make a fully informed decision. If your schedule requires a different arrangement, just let us know when you contact us.
My roof was damaged in a storm. Can you help with the insurance claim?
Yes. We provide photo documentation, a written inspection report, and a scope of work suitable for insurance review. We work alongside your adjuster to make sure all damage is properly captured. We don't negotiate with insurance companies on your behalf — that requires a public adjuster license — but our documentation consistently helps homeowners get their claims taken seriously.
My roof is only 10 years old. Do I need a replacement or just a repair?
That's exactly what the inspection determines. A 10-year-old roof may need nothing more than a flashing repair or pipe boot replacement — or it may qualify for Roof Maxx® rejuvenation to extend its life by several years. We give you an honest recommendation based on what we actually find, not a default pitch for the most expensive option.
What areas do you serve in Virginia and Maryland?

Yes. DreamHome holds a Virginia Class A Contractor License (#2705060193), a Maryland MHIC License, and a DC license. We carry full general liability insurance and workers' compensation on every crew. We never subcontract to unlicensed crews — every team member on your property is a DreamHome employee.
Do you offer financing?
